Snakes and Ladders-----------------------------
By: Dustin Mierau
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This version of Snakes and Ladders is only 2 Players.
Object of the game:
To be the first player to reach the square marked with teh number "100"
Playing the Game:
1. In the beginning you have to flip a coin to see who goes first, and the other
player follows him/her after player 1 has gone. The computer keeps everyone
on track, by not leting the person go twice, this way there isn't any cheats.
3. After you type in you and your oppoants name, both will be given there
own side of the board, which tells you your current state, current position
on the board, and the number you just rolled. The sides are labled with your
names, depending on which player you are, 1 or 2.
2. All players will begin on the square marked with 1. There is no playing
pieces, instead there is a text field labled "Position" this tells you where
you are on the computer game board.
4. Each player only has one turn at a time, but the computer controls this
so there is no cheating or fighting about whos turn it is.
5. Players are not permitted to move to a square which is occupied by another
player. Any player who lands on an occupied square must return to the square
that they began their move on and lose a turn.
6.Ladder squares: Should a player land on a square bearing the bottom
of a ladder, the player moves up the ladder, and their position will increase
more than it would when you roll the dice.
7.Snake Squares: Should a player land on a square bearing the tail-end
of a snake, the player slides down the snake, and their position will decrease
greatly depending on how long the snake is.
Winning the Game:
The first player to reach the square marked with the number "100" by an
exact roll of the dice, wins the game. If a player rolls above 100 then,
that player loses his/her turn.
